Savannah in Style Murder Mystery

This year’s Elder Network Murder Mystery fundraiser, “Modeling, Malfeasance and Murder” is written and directed by Suzie Hansen; produced in cooperation with Absolute Theatre and will feature live music by RavensFire. Set in the beautiful Plummer House, the mystery centers on world-renowned model, Irena Kay, and her claims to revolutionize the Fashion Industry. The city’s elite are clamoring to discover who will benefit and who will be crushed under Irena’s stiletto heel. Attendees will be part of an interactive drama, gathering clues to solve the mystery, while they sample wine and a nibble on tasty treats.

Elder Network Murder Mystery fundraiser is part of the Rochester Winterfest program and has been our sell-out murder mystery for a number of years running. Attendees must be 21 years of age and tickets must be purchased in advance.

Two performances at 6:00 and 8:30 pm.

SnoBall Softball Tournament

Every year during Rochester Winterfest, we hold a slow pitch softball tournament. This is a benefit tournament to raise money for the Eagles Cancer Telethon. Each year we have sponsors that donate generously so players that come out to brave the winter weather and play “snow or shine” can win some great prizes. Each year we have approximately 16-20 teams that consist of men's, women's and coed teams playing softball in the snow! Co-ed teams are welcome to play if that would like, they would be placed in the men's bracket. We play at local softball fields including McQuillan, Homestead, Slatterly & Bear Creek ball fields. It is a fun event and will be celebrating it's 41st year in 2019.

BENEFITING: Eagle's Cancer Telethon

Our mission is to provide a fun event while bringing community members together while raising money for the Eagle's Cancer Telethon.

Channel One Regional Food Bank is partnering with Hy-Vee to coordinate a Macaroni and Cheese food drive to help feed our neighbors in need. Boxes of Macaroni and Cheese will be collected in bins at all four Rochester Hy-Vee stores, with a goal of 9,000 boxes. Channel One volunteers will be on hand throughout the day to assist in the food drive.
